hp msi ms-7561 no power on resolve

model - hp board (ms-7561 rev1.0) msi

i/o- w83627dhg


problem- no power on


dignosis-

checked in power switch have no power

checked in i/o pin-61 no voltage ( here need 3.3v stand by for i/o internal logic on)

checked in pin-72 ps on voltage avilable 5v

checked in pin-74 vbat no voltage (here needed 3.3v which is coming from cmos batt)


solution


change the cmos battry also not voltage avil in pin 74 , so trace it found junk in cmos jumpeer, brush it and voltage

avil in pin-74


then checked for stand by voltage in board found u31 is the stand by voltage regulator (ic up7706) but here only

5v no 3.3v

so change this ic and 3.3v is generate and found 3.3v stand by in i/o pin-61 , also voltage coming to on /of panel

now board power on but no display

debug show reset high with 0000 code

change the i/o w83627dhg-a version and power on and display coming

now its done working fine
