Asus X55VD Case Study

Make/Model- Asus
Motherboard Part No-X55VD
Processor Type-I3
Ram Type –on board
Problem –Display ok with battery , battery not charging and no power with adaptor
Diagnosis-P ch mosfet faulty
Process-
Laptop gives display with battery but with adaptor doesn’t power on
Measured voltage at the output of the mosfets..
Found it 0.84 ….
Checked the impedence between source and gate of secondary mostfet
Found it 24 ohms …
Replace the mosfet
And job done ..
