Case Study
Make/Model- Acer 4736Z
Motherboard Part No-Compal LA-5272p
Processor Type-Intel Dual Core
Ram Type â€“DDRII
Problem â€“Power on No display & off
Diagnosis-Token Capacitor Problem
Process-
Motherboard get powered on 3.3 V present , 5v present , 1.8V present , 1.5 present
Vcore present â€¦ PSU take up the load of 0.64Amps and get switched off
No corrosion seen, no overheating components, Suspecting the token and lifeted the cap .
Found burnt on one side â€¦ replaced token â€¦.and job done
