Hp dv2000 no display in adapter mode but ok in battry mode
Hp dv2000
Board - Akita 945
Power on but no display in adapter mode
In battery mode laptop ok
Diagnosis
If board start with battery then display OK and put adapter also display OK
If remove adapter then once again insert board no display
Steps
Change all the mosfet of adbat and vin section but same isuue
Change charging ic but same issue
Then I check the 51120 ic pg pin11 - 2.9v in battry mode
But 1.8v in adapter mode
So that change the 51120 ic then check same issue
then I cut the track pin 11 from 51120 and 3v generate in pg section
Then check also same issue
This pg voltage is cpucore on voltage so I changed the core ic max8763 also same isuue
Then I checked the core voltage in battry mode is 1.2v but in ac mode.90v
So suspected issue is in vrm core section
Then I change CPU also same issue
After that change all capacitor and mosfet in CPU core section but same issue
After frosted then I add one capacitor behind CPU socket and work done
Now board ok
