I am having a problem on this Board its old bios file is 1024kb size. But i download bios Dump from some different sites that files are 4096kb. now i am confusing on these bios dumps. what is the actual size. i found the bios chip size is 8mb. but when i flash it with 4 mb bios dump file it show successfully flashed message also. but when i read that flashed file again it shows only 1mb file. i erased that chip several times and also used another chip with same number.

25L40 means = 512Kb
25L80means = 1MB
25L16means =2MB
25L32means = 4MB
25L64means = 8MB
25L128 means = 16MB

Thanks for your information. I replaced with w25q32bv and flashed the chip. Now the laptop came normal and i replaced VGA Graphics Core generator chip also. Now the laptop working fine.
