Apple Macbook Pro A1278 no Power

I got a macbook pro A1278 EMC=2555. Its SMC has already removed and i got a Brandnew SMC chip from ebay. i fixed it but this laptop not turn on. I checked all power stages, flashed BIOS also. Now i am asking is there any program inside the smc chip. if it available how can i update it where can i get firmware for that.

smc used in a1278 is pre programmed.no need to programme.check other supplies and component

I removed old one from the m/b. I got new one from ebay. is it ok or do i need to find any used smc. at the moment i don't have any used chips.
