Hi,
Do a systematic check first.
Disconnect LVDS connector from motherboard and see if you get display on external monitor. If yes, then most probably, you have bad graphics chip, which is most common is this model. Check whether you get enable singals for LCDVDD supply, which is generated by graphics chip. If you have bad graphics chip, you may consider doing UMA conversion to Intel HD graphics.
