Dear All i have dell vastro 1550 laptop when i put a cmos battery than laptop not start (on) but remove than start plz help how to slove problem

check rtc section components and shorting also....

i think its not the problem of rtc section.some dell laptops power on when cmos battery is dead or not present.plz check power switch 3.3v supply.follow the track.check if ur laptop shutdown when pressing power switch

in dell laptop charging ic power ok out put 3 Volts supply is rtc supply please check this line/bus . or directly change charging ic

Check pwrbtn 3.3 voltage in power button if not come then give pwrbtn voltage to power button from io
